Rocky beach with pristine water
Cala Regina is found in the locality of Terramala, in the municipal area of Quartu Sant'Elena. The beach of Cala Regina is made up of pebbles and rocks, and is flanked by rock-cliffs. Its waters have changing chromatic tonalities of blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflected on the seabed of stones. The small bay is guarded by a Spanish lookout tower, positioned on a promontory which plunges vertically into the sea, covered with the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean brush, eucalyptuses and pines.
Small cove with a beautiful clean blue sea. The stone beach is very bare but comfortable because it is not too crowded. It's bit more crowded in the summer months and has a large car park where campers can also park.
